Women’s Haven Just Built the Caribbean’s First Cycle Companion App

The world’s most popular period-tracking apps, like Flo and Clue, were built in Europe.

Now, a Caribbean brand has built its own.

On September 10, Women’s Haven, the organic feminine care brand Melesia Adderley founded in Grand Cayman in 2017, launched Cycle Companion. The company calls it the Caribbean’s first cycle companion app. It’s free on the Apple App Store and available across iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch.

The app goes beyond tracking. Alongside period logging and cycle predictions, users can record daily mood, energy and symptoms, follow guides to all 4 phases of the menstrual cycle with advice shaped by a Certified Menstrual Coach, and keep a private journal. A built-in shop connects them directly to Women’s Haven products.

The launch is the next step in a larger build. Women’s Haven has grown from a single Cayman business into a brand sold in more than 12 countries and over 100 retail locations, plus Amazon. Education has been part of its mission from the start.

This matters because a cycle tracker isn’t just a calendar. It shapes how women understand their bodies, when they notice changes, and what questions they bring to a healthcare provider.

That’s also why privacy matters. Period-tracking apps have faced scrutiny over how they handle health data. Women’s Haven says cycle records, symptoms and journal entries stay on the user’s device and private iCloud, and the App Store privacy label states the developer collects no data from the app.

The question for Women’s Haven isn’t whether women will download a Caribbean-built app.

It’s whether they’ll keep opening it once the novelty wears off.

Adderley sees the launch as proof of what a regional brand can build. “A brand founded here can create products, develop technology and contribute to conversations about women’s wellness far beyond our shores,” she wrote in the announcement.

Android availability will be announced through the company’s official channels.
